BJP organizing ‘Vaccination Festival’ to motivate people for vaccination: Arvind

Jammu, April 10 (Scoop News)-In order to make people aware about precautions against Corona Virus and motivate them to get vaccinated without any fear or hesitation, Jammu and Kashmir BJP has constituted teams at District and Mandal levels with party activists voluntarily going to public to assist them in any need.
Talking to media persons, this was informed by Jammu Kashmir BJP, Secretary & Vaccination Incharge, Arvind Gupta, who shared the details of party’s 4-day ‘Vaccination Festival’ to commence on April 11, the birthday of Jyotibha Phule, a social reformer and culminate on April 14, the birthday of Dr. Bheem Rao Ambedkar, the Architect of Constitution of India.
Arvind Gupta, flanked by party Spokespersons Balbir Ram Rattan and Thakur Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia and Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, said that on the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP has set up National Vaccination Team with Dr. Anil Jain as All India Vaccination Incharge and every State/UT unit of the party is following the same. He said that in J&K, every district and mandal has its teams of local activists of party rendering services to the people since March 20 this year by providing transport facility, drinking water etc.
Arvind Gupta told that the objective of the ‘Vaccination Festival’ is to exclusively focus on Corona Virus, reach out the people and educate them about the importance of getting vaccinated. He said that our activists are going to devote more time for four days to convince every eligible person to not hesitate but get vaccinated. The people should also follow the SOPs/guidelines issued by the Union Health Ministry like maintaining social distance, washing hands at regular intervals, wear face mask and using sanitizer. The people going to the Vaccination Centres should also take care of social distancing and mask wearing.
Arvind Gupta further said that during the past few weeks, there has been rise in cases of COVID-19 and hence it becomes more important to be more alert, cautious and take vaccine besides strictly following the precautions.
