Jammu, August 05 (Scoop News)- JK State President of Hindustan Shiv Sena, Vikrant Kapoor has said that on this day in the year 2019, when the decision to abolish Article 370 and 35A was taken by the Central Government, the people of Jammu had welcomed it vigorously. He said that people hoped that this would put an end to the discrimination faced by the people of Jammu for the last seven decades. But despite this, the process of discrimination against the people of Jammu did not end and even after the formation of the UT, such Tughlaqi decrees have been issued one after the other by the government, which has ruined all the hopes of the people of Jammu. He has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take immediate concrete steps towards providing relief to the people of Jammu.
State President of Hindustan Shiv Sena Vikrant Kapoor Said this during a press conference here today. He said that after the formation of the UT, no employment opportunities have been created in the State, due to which a wave of frustration has run among the unemployed youth. He said that the government has issued a Tughlaq decree banning the buying and selling of Agriculture land by communities like Khatri, Jain, Mahajan, Sardar etc.Vikrant Kapoor said that the business of Jammu has been completely ruined due to the lockdown due to Corona epidemic. He said that the contractors associated with the Forest Contractors & Industry Association have also been left completely idle for the last two years and thousands of families associated with them are on the verge of starvation. The contractors have raised their issues with the concerned officials many times but the corrupt officials sitting in the department are not ready to take any step in this direction. Due to their indifferent attitude, the forest contractors and thousands of families associated with them are facing severe financial crisis. He said that the UT government is leaving no stone unturned in issuing Tughlaqi decrees one after the other. Vikrant Kapoor said that due to the Tughlaqi decree of the government banning the mining of minerals like Sand, Stone etc. the common people are being forced to take construction materials by paying huge money, due to which the back of the common man has broken. At the same time, a conspiracy is being hatched to rob people by privatization of electricity, whereas the people of the State have the first right over the electricity generated in the State. Apart from this, many toll plazas have been established and are continuously being charged huge money from the residents of Jammu and thousands of people of Jammu have been rendered jobless by auctioning liquor licenses.
He has warned that if the government does not desist from taking such anti-Jammu decisions, then the Hindustan Shiv Sena will be forced to launch a massive agitation against it and the government will be solely responsible for the situation arising out of it.
