| Thathri Chamba Highway GM NHIDCL, SDM Thathri conduct joint inspection to review proposed alignment | |
Doda August 05 (Scoop News)- A Joint team compising General Manager NHIDCL, Nagendra, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Thathri Athar Amin Zargar and Superintendent Engineer PWD, Nasir Hussain Zargar today conducted the field inspection to review the proposed alignment for the Thathri-Chamba Highway.
The inspection was conducted in response to the issue raised by the inhabitants of Kahara Tehsil during the public grievance redress camp held at Thathri under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma.
The locals of Kahara Tehsil had raised objection apprehending that the proposed alignment of highway would displace the entire township along with the market affecting their life and livelihood.
The Joint committee on this account thoroughly inspected spot by spot and assured the locals that a detailed report in this regard shall be submitted to the expert Committee which will take the for final call and address the grievances without compromising the basic components of the project.
Tehsildar Kahara Subu Shad, besides other concerned officials also accompanied the team.
