Verman’s Art displayed in International Art Exhibition



Jammu, September 28 (Scoop News)-The art of senior artist of Jammu Jang S. Verman was displayed in an International Art Exhibition titled ‘Love Revolution- 2022’, organized by Art Novelty Gallery at Millennium Centre, Aizwal, Mizoram (India). His work was invited for display in the Invited Artists’ Category. The Art Exhibition was conceived and curated by Amoii, and supported by Vision Art Media, sponsored by Event Solution, Print Line, Chenkual Industry Progressive Innovation, Art & Culture Deptt. Govt. of Mizoram, National Health Mission Directorate, Mizoram etc.
The Global Show ‘Love Revolution- 2022’ was inaugurated by Dr. Lal Thanhawla, Former Chief Minister of Mizoram. Mssrs. B. Samgkumi Padmashree Awardee, Meriam L. Hrangchal Vestige Millionaires Council Member and Lavi Joseph were the guests of honour during the inaugural ceremony. Indian Artist Sunil Deore and Nargish Soma from Bangladesh were also present on this occasion.
122 participant artists from 37 countries displayed their art in this International Art Exhibition. The list of the countries of the artists includes the names viz. USA, Singapore, Bangla Desh, Italy, Turkey, Mexico, Ireland, Romania, Egypt, Germany, Malaysia, Dubai, Australia, Dominican Republic, Kosovo, Belgium, Iraq, Russia, Scotland, Philippines, Morocco, Colombia, France, Nepal, Republic of Korea, Ukraine, Vietnam, Turkey, China, Netherlands, Libya, Argentina, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, Pakistan, Thailand, Jordan and India.
Veteran Artist Shyam Sharma (1954- 2020), who lost his life due to Corona, has been remembered in the illustrated catalogue, by duly publishing his photograph.
The exhibition drew a lot of attention of the public, connoisseurs, buyers and art lovers, and was visited by a large number of visitors from across the world.
According to Lalhming Mowii, the Curator of Exhibition & Chairman, Art Novelty Gallery, Mizoram, “The previous International Art Exhibition ‘Love Revolution-2020 was an effort to share affection through online show of creativity during the hard times of Covid- 19, and the second show in this series have been a wonderful experience to share art on physical level as well.” She has also thanked Johnathan, Exhibition Secretary and Jeremy L Bawitlung, Graphic & Communication Designer who did their job in full swing since the registration period till the end of exhibition, all the sponsors, the art collectors, VIP and invited Artists and all the participants of the exhibition.
