BJP organizes Jal Hi Jeevan ‘Catch the Rain’ programmes across J&K under “Sewa Pakhwada"

Jammu,September 30 (Scoop News)- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir organized Jal Hi Jeevan ‘Catch the Rain’ programmes across Jammu & Kashmir under "Sewa Pakhwada".
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, on the occasion, said that various programmes to conserve water have been organized by party leaders across Jammu & Kashmir. School students, prominent citizens and the general masses were made aware of the dire need to conserve water under the ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ organised to mark PM Narendra Modi’s birthday which began on 17th September.
J&K BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul said that BJP decided to take up the issues of social utilities to build a better society during the Pakhwada which started on the birthday of our hard-working Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the series, today’s day was especially reserved to promote the conservation of water in our daily life.
Former BJP President Sat Sharma in programmes laid focus on various approaches to conserve water. One simple strategy is to use your water twice as you can reuse water, again and again, he said.
BJP Vice-President Yudhvir Sethi in his address in a programme on the bank of “Surya Putri Tawi” spoke on the conservation of water bodies.
BJP General Secretary Dr. Devinder Manyal elaborated on the concept of “Catch the rain, where it falls, when it falls” focussing on rainwater harvesting & water conservation.
In Jammu West, Sat Sharma, Dr. Devinder Manyal, Rajeev Charak, Munish Khajuria, Veenu Khanna, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Ayodhya Gupta, Naresh Singh, Karan Sharma, Keshav Chopra, Sanjay Baru, Succha Singh, Dr. Akshay, Neelam Nargotra, Ashok Kumar, Jaideep Sambyal, Yashpaul Shivgotra, Arun Dubey, Rahul, Rajesh Saini, Paramjit Kour, Sanjay Gupta, Ravi, Sonali and others participated in the programmes organized at government schools Nawabad and Kabir colony in Jammu West.
Students Salovani, Mannat, Muskan and Vinati were felicitated for their speeches on the conservation of water.
