15-day Ice Hockey training camp begins in Kargil


Kargil, January 27 (Scoop News)-A 15-day basic Ice Hockey training camp 2023 for under-14 boys and girls organized by Zonal Physical Education Officer, Kargil has started at Khree Sultan Choo Ice Hockey Stadium for which more than 150 players have registered so far.

Mohammad Ibrahim Shoqi, I/C ZEPO Kargil said the coaches will impart training and basic skill of skating, puck control, shooting, passing and team play during the 15-day training.

He said the camp has received huge response and students from other zones have been enrolled and they have reached Kargil.

Pertinently, over the past few years, Ice hockey has become popular in Kargil district and youth from rural areas are also participating in the game with enthusiasm.
Dulhasti Power Station organized One-day Hindi Workshop on Official Language Implementation



In order to ensure effective compliance of the Official Language Policy, a one day Hindi Workshop on Official Language Implementation was organized at Power Station on 27th January 2023. In this workshop, Rajbhasha Coordinators from different departments of Dulhasti Power Station were participated.



During the Hindi Workshop all the participants were apprised of the various Official Language Acts, Rules and Articles enshrined in the Constitution. Information in respect with region-wise classifications of the country on the basis of implementation of Official Language and targets set by the Department of Official Language were given. Hindi-English dictionary, online collection of technical and electrical terms and information about using them in official work was provided. In addition to this, work on "Kanthastha- Smriti based Translation Portal" prepared by the Department of Official Language for translation was taught. All employees were also briefed on other topics such as documents under section 3(3) of Official Language, daily quiz competition available on Intranet and incentive schemes etc.



On this occasion, all the participants expressed interest to use more and more Hindi in official work and to ensure compliance of the Annual Programme issued by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Government of India. At the end of the workshop, Shri MK Kashyap, Group General Manager (Incharge) Dulhasti Power Station took feedback from the participants and encouraged them to use Hindi in their all-official work.



The workshop was conducted under the supervision of Sh Davinder Koundal, Senior Manager (Human Resources). In the workshop, Shri Kamlesh Kumar, Asstt Rajbhasha Officer provided information on the said subject as the speaker.
