| 10-day ice hockey training concludes at Zanskar | | 
Kargil, February 05 (Scoop News)-The 10-day ice hockey training for children organized by Winter Sports Foundation supported by Royal Enfield and LEDEG concluded today at Munskit Chumik Ice Hockey Rink, Zanskar.
Sub Divisional Magistrate, Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay was the chief guest, Station House Officer, Zanskar and other sub-divisional officers were also present on the occasion.
The SDM appreciated the foundation. He announced Rs 5,000 to the organizer for providing the training to the children. The SDM also appealed the foundation to prepare the children for National/State level competitions.
Earlier, president of the Winter Sports Foundation, Pasan Lawang welcomed the chief guest and other guests. It was informed that 200 participants received ice-hockey training.
He said the foundation has also organized training at Zangla, Karsha Yulsum and Sani.
Cultural programs and skilled performances were presented by the trainees. Exhibition of ice-hockey games were also played between different teams of boys and girls.
Later, prizes and certificates were distributed among the position holders and participants by the chief guest and other guests.
