JK Minister felicitates KBC winner, Manoj Raina | | Jammu,September 14 (Scoop News)- Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla has said that son of the soil Manoj Raina has brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir with his performance in the ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC), adding people of J&K feel proud of him and his talent. The Minister said this during a felicitation function held at Sureksha Vihar in Top Paloura, to honour Manoj Raina. Relief Commissioner (M), Ravinder Kumar Pandita, Assistant Commissioner (Relief), Ashwani Khajuria besides locals and family members of the winner were present on the occasion. Bhalla said that Manoj Raina, a Kashmiri Pandit youth, has once again proved that the state is blessed with abundant talent in different fields by winning Rupees one crore in KBC, a T V Show being hosted by Amitabh Bachchan's. The Minister has recommended his name for State award to Chief Minister to further boost his morale. “Youth of the state youth have tremendous talent in varied fields with enough knack and aptitude to compete in today’s world of knowledge”, he maintained. Bhalla said that the Government always acknowledges the contribution of successful people like Raina and encourages them with certain incentives to encourage them to move ahead. The success of such intelligent personalities becomes a source of inspiration for the whole generation which is imperative for progress and prosperity of a nation, he added. ... |
