| DLS Organized mediation and conciliation camp in Leh | |
Leh, December 24 (Scoop News)-To mitigate the legal problems of the people, besides providing legal awareness and speedy justice, a one day mediation and conciliation camp was organized in the conference hall of BDO, Khatsi yesterday. Organized by District Legal Service Authority/ District Mediation Centre, Leh in collaboration with Sub Divisional Administration Khaltsi, the awareness Camp was chaired by Principal District Session Judge, Leh Justice Sanjay Parihar. Other who were present on the occasion were MLC, Leh Norboo Gyaltson, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Leh Sonil Sagra, President Bar Association, Leh Lasu Shafi, Tehisldar Khlatsi, block level officers, senior advocates and good number of Sarpanches, Nambardars and Panches of Khaltsi sub division.
Sanjay Parihar speaking on the occasion said that main objective of organizing Legal Awareness Camps in rural areas is to make public aware of their legal rights. He urged upon the people representatives to educate general public about their rights and aware them about various welfare schemes of Centre and State governments.
He also highlighted the significance of Legal Aid Centre in sensitizing people to attain speedy justice and amicable solutions to their law related problems by providing financial assistance and free advocacy.
