Six arrested for threatening to Panchs & in “Pragaash “case

Srinagar, February 7(Scoop News) –Jammu and Kashmir Police had arrested six persons for threatening to Panchs and for posting abusive and intimidating comments on a social networking site for the all girl Band Pragaash case .

According to Police offical spokesman that police arrested three persons who posing as militants threatened the Sarpanch and panches of Dooru area. Incriminating documents like posters and letter pads have been recovered from them.
Anantnag police arrested three persons Abdul Rashid Rahi son of Ghulam Mohammad, Shahid Ahmad Khan son of Mohammad Yousf Kahan, Mohammad Yousf Khan son of Mohammad Shafi residents of village Reyan Chowgund, Dooru involved in issuing threats to Panchs and Sarpanchs in Dooru area of Anantnag district.
During investigation of case FIR No 66/12 under section 13/(2)ULA,505 RPC of Police Station Dooru, it was revealed that he trio were involved in pasting of threatening posters, wherein demands for resignation of Sarpanchs and Panchs of Dooru area were made.
10 blank posters having seal of District Commander HUJI printed on them and some fake seal of HUJI were recovered from their possession. These persons were posing themselves as militants and used to spread fear among Sarpanches and Panchs of Doour area.

Meanwhile Srinagar police arrested three persons for posting abusive and intimidating comments on a social networking site for the all girl Band Pragaash.
Srinagar police registered a case FIR no; 5/2013 under section 66A IT Act and 506/RPC in police station Raj Bagh, with regard to the posting of abusive and intimidating comments over a social networking site for the all girl music Band Pragaash.
During investigation three persons have been arrested so far. They are Tariq Majid Khan son of Abdul Majid Khan resident of SK Colony, Anantnag, Rameez Ahmad Shah son of Mohammad Shafi Shah resident of Baba wayil, Gutli Bagh, Ganderbal and Irshad Ahmad Chara son of Abdul Ahad Chara resident of SD Colony, Batamaloo, Srinagar. The investigation is going on, more arrests are expected.
