BJP’s double standards exposed:Bhim

Jammu, February 23 (Scoop News) - “Statement by BJP’s national leadership in Jammu advocating for considering the issue of Article 370 in the Constitution of India has exposed BJP’s policy vis-à-vis J&K and there appears no difference in the attitude of the BJP from that of the Congress and the left.” Prof. Bhim Singh while reacting on the statement of Shri Kirti Azad, Spokesman of BJP in Jammu.
The Panthers Party Supremo accused BJP for the blackmail and exploitation of the nationalist forces in J&K and outside for the past 50 years. The NPP leader said that BJP had been advocating for the abrogation of Article 370 for decades but once they came in power at the Centre none of the party leaders cared or dared mentioned a word on the issue. On the other hands the National Conference which had been projecting as a sworn enemy of the BJP happily sat on the lap of BJP government in the Centre. The present Chief Minister worked as a faithful minister in the government headed by Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The statement made by the BJP spokesman in Jammu has given clear indication that the BJP is interested to discuss Article 370 and nothing more. Prof. Bhim Singh has called on the BJP leaders to explain their new strategy on Article 370 and on the reorganization of J&K.
Prof. Bhim Singh reiterated that all the disputes and problems relating to the internal crisis and conflict shall be settled after the reorganization of the state when each region say, Ladakh, Kashmir Valley and Jammu Pradesh shall get equal legislative, political and financial authority. This reorganization may flow via confederation of J&K with separate Civil Secretariats in Srinagar and Jammu to start with. This objective can only be achieved, presently, through the mechanism of Article 370 by the Parliament. He said that both the Congress and BJP have been using the residents of J&K for promoting their vote-banks in the respective pockets which can only be cured through the reorganization.
