Miscreants burn vehicle in Awantipora Kashmir
Curfew continued for the second day

Srinagar, March 7 (Scoop News)-A Swaraj Mazda vehicle of a private cement factory bearing registration number 6276/JK01F was set on fire by some miscreants, when driver Bilal Ahmad Khandy son of Abdul Aziz parked the vehicle near Wuyan as per routine,Police said.

The vehicle was partially damaged. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Police said that situation remained by and large peaceful across the valley. However, there were reports of stone pelting from some areas of Srinagar and elsewhere.

Curfew continued for the second day without relaxation in parts of Srinagar and some other places in the Kashmir Valley Thursday.


According to Police curfew was imposed on Wednesday morning in Police station areas of Nowhatta, Khanyar, M.R Ghanj, Rainawari, Safakadal, Zadibal, Kralkhud, Maisuma in Srinagar, Kulgam town, Baramulla town, Trehgam town and in Sopore.
