IOC launches drive to ensure fuel quality & quantity
Joint team of IOC CAPD & LM inspects petrol/diesel pumps

Jammu, March 7 (Scoop News) -Indian Oil Corporation has launched a special drive for ensuring the quality and quantity of fuel dispensed from its petrol pumps in the state. In addition to quality checks, all dispensing units at IOC petrol pumps are being subjected to stringent checks for the quantity dispensed and also for any modifications in these units. This drive shall continue for a fortnight and shall be undertaken by officials of Indian Oil in collaboration with officers of CAPD and Legal Metrology.
As part of the drive, two petrol pumps of Indian Oil were inspected today by a team comprising of Parvez Malik, Director-CAPD, Jammu, Sh. Amar Singh, Jt. Controller-Legal Metrology, Sh. Manoj Prabhakar, Dy. Controller- Legal Metrology(Enforcement), Sh. RK Shahab, State Level Coordinator- Oil Industry, Sh. Sumeet Munshi, Dy. Manager-IOC, Ms. Pooja, Inspector-Legal Metrology. The petrol pumps inspected were Friends Service Station, Nagrota and Highway Automobiles, Nagrota. Both the petrol pumps were found delivering correct quality and quantity of fuel. Dispensing units installed at these petrol pumps were also found to be in order.
