3 Dies, 14 Injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, March 12 (Scoop News) – Three persons died and fourteen others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
Police said that an Innova bearing registration number JK01N/4996, collided with a Traller bearing registration number HR-63A/8370, near Chandhara Crossing, Awantipora on National Highway, in the jurisdiction of police station Awantipora, resulting in on spot death of Head Constable Mohammad Abdulla Lone posted in CID, SBK, son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Sehpora, Beerwah, Budgam and injuries to five other persons including driver of the vehicle. All the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment, among them injured driver Aamir Ahmad Gojri son of Mohammad Yousuf resident of Bemina, Srinagar succumbed to his injuries at SMHS, Hospital, Srinagar. A case has been registered in this regard.
An LP Truck bearing registration number JK02AR/3401 while on way from Jammu to Srinagar driven by Babu Ram son of Sandokhu Ram resident of Nad Top Samba at present Sunderbani Rajouri collided with wall of Government Boys Degree College Khanabal, Chowk, Anantnag, in the jurisdiction of police station Anantnag, resulting in on spot death of the Truck driver. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Maruti Car bearing registration number JK01S/1882 hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Mohammad Teli son of Abdul Samad resident of Barsoo, Ganderbal near Barsoo, Ganderbal, in the jurisdiction of police station Khirbhawani. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Scorpio bearing registration number JK01H/8090 skidded off the road near Thune Palpora, Ganderbal on National Highway, in the jurisdiction of police station Kangan and fell down into Nallah Sindh, resulting in injuries to four passengers. The injured have been shifted to Sub District Hospital Kangan for treatment, among them one injured has been referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
An unknown Motorcyclist hit and injured a lady Saleema wife of Abli Mir resident of Inderkote Sumbal at Sumbal Market, Bandipora, in the jurisdiction of police station Sumbal. The injured has been shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
During the intervening night of 11/12.03.2013, a TATA 407 vehicle bearing registration number JK02U/3101 driven by Hialal Ahmad Shah son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Tapper Pattan, hit a vehicle 407 bearing registration number JK03/8424 driven by Mushtaq Ahmad Alie son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Kulgam, Anantnag at Hianjiyera on National Highway, resulting in injuries to driver Mushtaq Ahmad Alie and three passengers. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
