| Members condemn attack on CRPF & youth killing | | Dy. Speaker asks Govt.to make a statement |
Jammu, March 14 (Scoop News) -Members cutting across party affiliations today condemned the killing of five CRPF jawans in a suicide attack at Bemina and killing of a youth allegedly by CRPF at Saidpora yesterday in Srinagar.
As the House began its proceedings for the day, several members raised the incidents of killings describing them as unfortunate.
Deputy Speaker, Muhammad Sartaj Madni, who was presiding over the House, directed the Government to make a statement on the issue in the House. He said he shared the sentiments expressed by the members and regretted that media has not carried the condolences expressed by Speaker, Mubarak Gul while conducting the House yesterday.
