| SMVD Shrine Board sports meet takes off | | Katra/ Jammu, May 25 (Scoop News) –Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Katra Badminton & Table Tennis tournament for Sector Jammu staff of the Board took off here today at MAM Stadium Jammu.
The tournament is being organised under the chairmanship of Addl Chief Executive Officer, SMVD, Dr Mandeep K Bhandari, .
Director Sports Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Ashok Kumar, formally declared the tournament open at the indoor complex of MA Stadium Jammu.
The objective behind holding the tournament is to provide a platform to the employees of SMVD Shrine Board to exhibit their sports Skills and develop a sense of competition and sportsmanship among them. The winners of the tournament shall find place in The Inter Sectoral Tournament to be held at Katra.
The tournament was officiated by Vikrant Singh, Raju Sharma, Dhanraj Salathia, Dalbir Singh
Prominent among others who graced the occasion included Krupali Singh(Arjuna Awardee),Gymnastic Coach, Shivani Goel, Dy Manager Vaishnavi Dam, K K Kaul, Asstt Manager, Vaishnavi Dam, Pushpa Sharma,DYSS Officer, Veer ji Koul, ZPEO, Satish Gupta, I/C Indoor Stadium.
