| Sports persons bring message of peace and brotherhood to J&K | | Jammu, May 25 (Scoop News) –They all love sports and aspire to represent India in various disciplines in Olympics. 22 Students comprising of 11 boys and 11 girls from Motilal Nehru School of Sports, Rai (Sonipat) are on tour to Jammu and Kashmir from 26 May to 03 Jun 2013. The tour is being organized under the aegis of Counter insurgency Force (Delta).
The initiative taken by Rashtriya Rifles at Nachalana (Banihal), Ramban under Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) last year has started showing visible signs of friendly bond developing among the local sports persons, students including the girl students with the students from the mainland. In second such tour from Sports School Rai, Sonipat, students will interact and exchange views with their counterparts from schools in Ramban district. The students from Khari bowl who developed bond of friendship with the sportsmen, who visited last year, are eagerly waiting to receive their friends with whom they have been in contact through letters and telephone. The tour will also encompass interaction with civil administration officials and Army officials who are jointly working towards the development of youth of the state.
This tour is being followed by a trip of selected students from Ramban district to Sports School, Rai (Sonipat) in the month of August 2013 with the aim of strengthening the bond of oneness among the youths of J&K and sportsperson. This exchange of students emits a clear message that no conflict can affect the bond among the youth of this nation and sports are the biggest binding factor amongst the youth.
