Dear sir,
Hope you will be in good health. I MAS...son of MS,son of Muhammad Ayub, son of Muhammad Baksh,son of Such Muhammad , am a resident/citizen of N.W.F.P province ,Pakistan. I am of 47 years age . Working as gezetted officer in a government department. I came to know from one of my ancestors that our great grand father i.e Such Muhammad (late) belonged to a Pandit family of Bijhbehara,Kashmir. His former name before acceptance of Islam was Pandit Such Dial. He was born in between 1840-1850 A.D. his ancestors were appointed as the care takers of some plants/trees nurseries developed by Mughal rulers of India/Kashmir somehow back in the 1650s. Such Muhammad Sahib shifted his family to Rawalpindi in the early 20th century but remained in Bijbehara till his last breath. I am very anxious to know about my family background and about my ancestors .
We just know that we are the pandits of Bijbehara but we don’t know about our cast and "SHAJRAH" etc . Through your article ive come to know about my father's land for which im very grateful and now i hope that through your good self i can have some knowledge about the glorious past of my forefathers too. I hope your goodself will not turn down my request and will kindly help me in my mission.

My dear MAS Sahab,
I am extremely glad to receive your letter via email. It is really heartening to know that you love the land of your fore-fathers. Very few people care for their ancestry, while generally people forget the name of grand parents not to speak of fore-fathers. Being far away from our Kashmir you still remember the paradise on earth where your ancestors lived.
I appreciate your approach to life and your regard and love for your ancestry .Your great grand father Pandit Such Dyal adopted Islam as his religion and became Such Muhmmad . It seems he has passed on qualities of a great human being to his progency.
It is the reason that you still remember your ancestors and are eager to know more about your roots.
I assure you that I will try to gather more information regarding Pt.Such Dyal/ Such Mohammad from Bijbehara which is our ancestral place of living. After tracing clues from the records of early 20th centaury and obtaining information from various quarters, I I will communicate the same to you. It may take some time, but I will continue sincere sentiments.
