| Chairman LC nominates members to various Committees for 2013-14 | | Srinagar, June 18 (Scoop News) –Chairman Legislative Council, Amrit Malhotra today nominated members to serve on various committees for the year 2013-14.
Committee on Petitions will have Mohammad Ashraf Mir as its Chairman while Aga Syed Ahmad Rizvi, Master Noor Hussain, S. Dharambir Singh Oberoi, Abdul Majid Bhat and Smt Rani Gargi Blowria as its members.
Committee on Privileges will have Jugal Kishore Sharma as its Chairman while Davinder Singh Rana, Showkat Ahmad Ganai, Ravinder Kumar Sharma, Ghulam Nabi Monga and Ali Mohammad Dar as its members.
Committee on Government Assurance will have S. Dharambir Singh Oberoi as its Chairman while Javid Rana, Sheikh Ghulam Rasool, Agha Syed Rizvi, Syed Asgar Ali and Muzaffar Parray as its members.
Committee on Subordinate Legislation will have Narboo Gialchan as its Chairman while B. A. Magray, B. R. Kundal, G. Q. Pardesi, Sham Lal and Yashpal Sharma as its members.
Committee on Ethics will have Subash Chander Gupta as its Chairman while Ajat Shatru Singh, Yashpal Sharma, Ali Mohammad Dar, Sham Lal, Abdul Majid Bhat and Smt. Rani Blowria as its members.
Committee on Environment will have Dr. Bashir Ahmad Shah (Veeri) as its Chairman while Naresh Kumar Gupta, Vijay Bakaya, Showkat Ahmad Ganai, Syed Mohammad Rafiq Shah, Master Noor Hussain and Muzaffar Parray as its members.
Rules Committee will have Khalid Najib Suharwardy, Jehangir Hussain Mir, Syed Asgar Ali, Ravinder Kumar Sharma and Dr. Shehnaz Ganai as its members while Chairman Legislative Council shall be the Ex-officio Chairman of the Committee.
House Committee will have Ajat Shatru Singh, Subash Chander Gupta, Sheikh Ghulam Rasool, Mohammad Ashraf Mir and Dr. Shehnaz Ganai as its members while Chairman Legislative Council shall be the Ex-officio Chairman of the Committee.
Library Committee will have Javed Ahmad Rana, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Sheikh Ghulam Qadir Pardesi, Narboo Gialchen, Dr. Bashir Ahmad Shah (Veeri) and Ghulam Nabi Monga as its members while Chairman Legislative Council shall be the Ex-officio Chairman of the Committee.
General Purpose Committee will have Ajay Kumar Sadhotra (Leader of the House), Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy, B. A. Magray, Davender Singh Rana, Jehangir Hussain Mir, Naresh Kumar Gupta, Vijay Bakaya, B. R. Kundal, Syed Rafiq Shah and Nayeem Akhtar as its members while Chairman Legislative Council shall be the Ex-officio Chairman of the Committee.
