| Manhas, Koul, others campaign for Dr. Jitendra | |
Jammu, April 13, (Scoop News)-BJP National Executive Member & former State President Shamsher Singh Manhas along with State General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul, Party MLAs-Sham Choudhary and Durga Dass and other senior leaders addressed a series of public meetings at Ghagwal, Hiranagar, Barnoti, Nagri and Kathua areas of Kathua-Udhampur-Doda Parliamentary constituency to seek votes for party candidate Dr. Jitendra Singh.
Shamsher Singh Manhas, while addressing these meetings, said that unprecedented voter turn out on 10th of April in Jammu -Poonch constituency is a clear sign that entire population wants change in New Delhi and everybody wanted to contribute in this national agenda of change by voting. The people are fed up with the corruption, scams, mis-governance, price rise, large unemployment, especially among youth, and want to see Congress free India so that shackled energies of the country are unleashed and growth rate reaches the level that was prevalent during previous NDA’s rule. He also dwelled on the conduct of relations with immediate neighbours of India adding that the security environment has only worsened. The Congress and its allies have only focused on indulging in corruption and did not even refrain from looting national assets like coal mines etc. by allocating these to their cronies and favourites. He appealed the public to come out in large numbers on 17th April to vote for BJP to see Narendra Modi as Prime Minister.
Ashok Koul said that the BJP cadre has fanned in entire length and breadth of the constituency with the message of Narendra Modi for the people and we are getting very positive response everywhere. The Congress and National Conference leaders are finding it difficult to face the public during campaigning as none of them has any concrete reply to the queries while the BJP leaders are getting overwhelming response from every pocket. He said that it is BJP and Narendra Modi which are sweeping the constituency and we are going to win both the seats of Jammu Province with a thumping majority.
Sat Sharma(CA), Harinder Gupta, Brig. Anil Gupta, Vijay Sharma (Adv.), Rashpal Verma, Ashwani Sharma, Parkash Sharma, Chattar Singh, Ramesh Gupta, Dharminder Kumar and others also addressed these meetings.
