Sagar, Tarigami condemn killing of Sarpanch | | Jammu/Srinagar, April 18, (Scoop News)- Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Ali Mohammad Sagar, has condemned the killing of Sarpanch Mohammad Amin Pandit, who was killed at Gulzarpora in Awantipora area of South Kashmir of Pulwama district by some unidentified persons yesterday. Sagar said that the killing of Sarpanch is a barbaric act which should be condemned by one and all as such incidents are totally against humanity and are carried out by the persons who want to spread death and destruction in the State without caring for loss of human life. The Minister also prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and hoped that the family would be able to bear the irreparable loss.
Strongly condemning the killing of Mohammd Amin Pandit Sarpanch hailing from Gulzarpora Awantipora , CPI (M) State Secretary Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has termed the incident 'heinous and barbaric act' which should be condemned by one and all.
In a statement issued today Tarigami said: "Such incidents are inhuman and unfortunate and the society must come out and express itself against such brutal acts of violence. These incidents of violence are not acceptable to any civilized society," he remarked.
Expressing sympathies with the bereaved family, the CPI (M) leader has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Pandit's family.
