| PDP determined to address Peoples grievances:Rangil | | appeals Sikhs to make best use of votes | Srinagar, April 21, (Scoop News)-Interacting with the people from different sections of society of Baramulla, Uri, Tral,Pulwama and Anantnag areas1
of Kashmir division the senior PDP leader and the former Minister S Rangil Singh said that NC Cong coalition has proved as a non-performing liability for the State as well as a stumbling block in
the way of equitable development . He added that every section of society including younger generation, minorities and common masses are
against the deceitful policies of the coalition because nothing has been achieved at the grass root level and now the hollow performance has appeared before the people who are fed up and are impassionately looking towards PDP which has come up as the only alternative for ameliorating the socio-economic conditions of the people of the State.
Mr Rangil Singh while referring to the pragmatic development during PDPs tenure of governance said that its govt had succeeded in creating a sense of security among the people and restored the dignity of the common masses by pioneering a number of confidence building measures (CBMs). He said that cross LOC trade at Poonch and Uri were the
historic CBMs initiated successfully by the PDP government. He said that NC and Cong came in alliance without any common agenda and become
partners only to enjoy political power thus deceiting the people.
During this regime corruption, unemployment and Bopee cricket scam are the main achievement of this coalition government. This coalition became famous for a number of scams only. The NC-Cong coalition
remained handicapped in furthering any steps for proceeding on peace process with the result that the peace process initiated by Mufti Government has altogether been halted. Singh added, at the time of its birth in 1999, PDP had a target to restore peace and development in the troubled torn State. He reiterated that PDP has no aim of grabbing political power but it is concentrating on addressing the people’s grievances equitably across the State. The victim of injustice under the coalition are determined to give a crushing defeat to their masked
political self interests during Parliamentary election.
The senior PDP leader eulogized the people of the Valley especially the Sikh community for its positive foresight to vote for PDP in their
respective Parliamentary constituencies for seeking a better future.
He said that Sikh votes are decisive votes in a number of Constituencies. Singh appealed the Sikh community to use their right of franchise for electing a secular and selfless candidate dedicated
to democratic values of life. Voting for a power hanger candidate is to waste a valuable vote. Voting for a selfless candidate dedicated to raise the voice of minorities in the Parliament for safe-guarding their Constitutional rights especially in Kashmir region is the proper use of franchise, he added. He appealed that the minorities must stand
together to usher the wind of change which is blowing throughout the country.
