| Female dental surgeons hunger strike enters day-24 | |
Jammu, July 24, (Scoop News)- Dental Surgeons Association Jammu Kashmir (DSA-JK) today on 24-07-2014 continued their Dharna for 24nd consecutive day & female hunger strike entering 12th day, with Dr. Kritika Rajput sitting on fast.
Today, the agitating dental Surgeons went on roads & took to shoe polishing as a mark of showing their resentment towards the govt. The doctors wearing white aprons assembled on Amphalla Chowk near Govt. Dental College & Hospital where they polished shoes of the people passing by. While Chief Minister Jenab Omar Abdullah on one hand is projecting by means of huge roadside advertisements that “My hand holding of youth is above political motives “ on the other hand he has left the youth to struggle on roads .
Dr. Singh added that on coming Friday, i.e. 25th July, the agitating doctors along with the support of various other associations will take out a massive protest rally commencing from Amphalla Chowk at 10 AM, against the ill fated policies of the Govt.
Dr. Pawan Singh also appealed everyone to come forward and join our protest for genuine cause on humanitarian grounds. He also said that our protest will continue till our demands are met and is going to take more serious and harsh nature in the coming days and the Govt. will be responsible for any uneventful happening
The demands of the association are Complete absorption of unemployed dental youth. Recruitment of dental surgeons on every year basis. Establish separate directorate for dental health in the state.
