Governor,Ministers,Others greet people on Eid-ul-Fitr

Jammu /Srinagar, July 28, (Scoop News)-N. N. Vohra, Governor, has conveyed warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the joyous and auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In a message of felicitations, the Governor expressed the hope that this auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of peace, progress, prosperity and happiness and would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity, which are the hallmarks of J&K’s glorious pluralistic traditions.
The Governor prayed for the progress and well-being of the people of the State.



The Council of Ministers of the State have greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The Ministers included Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand, Minister for Finance & Ladakh Affairs, A. R. Rather, Minister for Public Enterprises, Haj, Auqaf and Floriculture, Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayats, Ali Mohammad Sagar, Minister for Forest, Environment and Ecology, Mian Altaf Ahmad, Minister for Health & Medical Education, Taj Mohi-ud-Din, Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies, Nawang Rigzin Jora, Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Sham Lal Sharma, Minister for Agriculture Production, Ghulam Hassan Mir, Minister for Social Welfare, ARI & Trainings and Public Grievances, Ms. Sakina Itoo, Minister for Housing, Horticulture, Culture, Youth Services & Sports, Raman Bhalla, Minister for Higher Education, Mohammad Akbar Lone, Minister for Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution and Transport, Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan, Minister for Planning & Development, Labour & Employment, Ajay Sadhotra, Minister for Tourism, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Minister for R&B and Mechanical Engineering, Abdul Majid Wani and Minister for Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs, Mir Saifullah in a joint felicitation message have extended their felicitation praying for well being and happiness of the people of the state. They expressed that the Eid would open a new chapter of progress and all round development in the State, besides be a harbinger of communal harmony, peace and tranquillity in the state.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Revenue, Relief & Rehabilitation, Ajaz Ahmad Khan, Minister of State for Cooperative, Printing & Stationery and Elections, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma, Minister of State for Home, Industries and Commerce, Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo, Minister of State for Science & Technology and Information Technology, Feroz Ahmad Khan, Minister of State for Animal & Sheep Husbandry, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi and Minister of State for Technical Education, Vikar Rasool Wani have also greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.


Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council, Amrit Malhotra and Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Mubarak Gul have felicitated the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In their separate felicitation messages, they hoped that Eid would be a harbinger of communal harmony, peace, progress and prosperity in the state. They also prayed for the happiness and well being of the people of the state.
Similarly, Deputy Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council Javid Rana and Deputy Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Sartaj Madni have extended their warm greetings to the people of State on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Meanwhile, Advisor to Chief Minister Qamar Ali Akhoon has also felicitated the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The Director General of Police (DGP), K. Rajendra Kumar has greeted all ranks of Jammu and Kashmir Police, their families and the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
He has expressed his hope that the festival would bring joy and happiness among the cops, their families and the families of police martyrs.
Rajendra in a message has said that the festival reminds us to share our joys with destitute and deserving, and on this occasion we have to re-affirm to extend our helping hand to the people of the State. He said that occasion teaches us to reaffirm our commitment towards the brotherhood and selfless service to humanity. He has also prayed for peace and prosperity for the people of the State.
