| Div Com visits Holy Lake at Kailash Kund Bhaderwah | | Doda, August 19, (Scoop News)-Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Shantmanu accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Doda Shyam Vinod Meena and other officers visited the Holy Lake at Kailash Kund, Bhaderwah and took stock of the preparations of the forthcoming kailash yatra 2014.
Before proceeding for the Kailash Kund, a meeting of the District Officers including DC Doda, SSP Doda, SDM Bhaderwah, CEO, BDA, ASP, BMO, BDO, etc. was also convened at Dak Bungalow Bhaderwah under his chairmanship where specific instructions were passed to the concerned officers so as to ensure the smooth conduct of the yatra.
The Chhari Mubarak will leave from Gatha Mandir Bhaderwah on the 22th of August will return on the 24th of August. BMO Bhaderwah was directed to ensure sufficient deployment of well equipped medical teams both enroute as well as at the holy lake to cater to any medical exigency faced by the yatries and others.
DFO Bhaderwah and BDO Bhaderwah were directed to complete the remaining work of path restoration well within time. It is worthwhile to mention that Shantmanu is the first Divisional Commissioner Jammu to have visited the Holy Lake and that too on foot.
