| Glowing tributes paid to Mirwaiz Mohmammed Farooq on his anniversary | |  Srinagar, August 23,(Scoop News)-Awami Action Committee (AAC), Anjuman-e-Auqaf Jamia Masjid,Anjuman-e-Nusrat-ul-Islam Thursday held a special prayer session for the noted social, political and religious leader of Kashmir,Mirwaiz Mohammad Farooq, and to commemorate their 25th anniversary according to the Islamic calendar.
During the session, Quranic recitation was held besides prayers were offered for the
founder of AAC.
Meanwhile, the hurriyat spokesman has appealed the head of Masjids, Imams and Khateebs to offer prayers for Mirwaiz Mohammed Farooq and for the unity of muslims during the on coming Friday prayers which falls on 25th of Shawal month of Islamic calendar.
The spokesman paid glowing tributes to the contribution of Mirwaiz Farooq towards social, political and religious issues of the people of Kashmir
