Lady hangs herself to death | 2 injured in road mishaps |
Srinagar, August 23,(Scoop News)-A lady hanged herself to death in Pattan area of Baramulla district last evening. A 30 years old lady (name withheld) and resident of Alambul Mirgund, in the jurisdiction of police station Pattan, Baramulla hanged herself to death at her home. Baramulla police after conducting the legal formalities handed over the body of deceased lady to her relatives for last rites. A case has been registered in this regard and investigation is on.
2 injured in road mishaps Two persons including a 06 years old boy were injured in two separate road accident across the valley. A load carrier without registration number hit and injured Ghulam Nabi Sheikh son of Abdul Rehman resident of Gulabagh Safapora at Pahlipora, in the jurisdiction of police station Safapora, Ganderbal. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment. Safapora police has registered a case in this regard. Meanwhile, a Tata mobile 207 bearing registration number JK13A/9353 hit and injured a minor child Mudasir Ahmad Bajran age about 06 Years son of Kakher-ud-Din resident of Krechoo Pathri at Heerpora, Shopian. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment. Shopian police has registered a case in this regard 3 structures damaged in fire Three structures were damaged in different fire incidents across the valley. Fire broke out in the joint resident house of Nazir Ahmad Hajam and Nisar Ahamd Hajam resident of Hardu Akad, in the jurisdiction of police station of police station Mattan, resulting in damage to the house. Meanwhile, fire broke out in the building of Mohammad Sadiq Bakal son Ghulam Mohammad at Kukar Bazar, resulting partial damage to the building. Fire was brought under control by Fire Tenders and Police. In another incident, fire broke out in the store building of JNV Model School Potushaie Lolab, in the jurisdiction of police station Sogam, resulting in partial damage to the building.
