| Young generation sees ray of hope in PDP: Firdous Tak | |
Kishtwar,August 23, (Scoop News)- People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Kishtwar, Firdous Ahmed Tak today said that the young generation was seeing a ray of hope in PDP as is evident from the fact that hundreds of youth are coming in the party fold across the state daily.
Addressing a function held to welcome dozens of local youth in the party fold, Tak said that the last six years of NC led coalition misrule has alienated the youth of the state, but now they are looking towards PDP for the fulfillment of their aspirations.
“They know how PDP during its short span of three year regime restored the dignity of common man and purged the state institutions by bringing transparency in their working”, he said and added that people still remember that time as golden era of governance in the state.
Regretting the degeneration witnessed in the working of government during past six years, he said the situation is so bad that common man feels reluctant to enter into an office.
“The nepotism and political patronization has crossed all limits and a common man feels totally harassed as getting some work done in the government office has become a nightmarish experience for him”, he said.
The ruling politicians have cast full control over government departments and the corrupted officers have become puppet in their hands. No one can get his work done unless he or she has recommendation of a Minister or ruling party MLA, Tak regretted.
“In my opinion this is the most unfortunate situation as no society can grow and prosper where common man is pushed to the wall and denied his due” , he added.
He called upon the youth to be partner in the movement of change aimed at wellbeing and prosperity of all and to end the present pestering situation where poor are being harassed by heartless rulers.
Prominent among those who joined the party were Mudassir Hussain, Tanveer Hussain, Akram Hussain, Musharaf Hussain, Ashfaq Hussain, Umar Mir, Yassir Hussain and Imtiyaz Hamal.
Sheikh Nasir Hussain party District Coordinator, Ishtiyaq Hussain Waza, State Secretary Youth and coordinator Kishtwar assembly, Senior Leaders Qazi Mushtaq, Malik Noor Hussain, Capt Mohd Ashraf, Umar Malik Youth Dist President , Mohd Iqbal Sheikh, Abdul Kabir Sheikh, Ashok Sharma, Joghinder Mahajan, Ghulam Mohd, Habib-ul-ah, Rehmat Ali Chowdhary, Abdul Rashid, Arshad Giri were also present on the occasion.
