OP Sadhbhavna A Module to Strengthen Awam and Jawan: Maj Gen Negi

Kargil,August 30, (Scoop News)- OP Sadhbhavna Programme is a module to strengthen the bond between the Jawan and Awam and to fulfill this aim Indian Army is organizing various Programmes like Medical Camps, Vetenary Camps, Sports Activities, Music Competitions etc and army has opened various Army Goodwill Schools, Women Welfare Centers etc in Border District Kargil.
This was revealed by the GOC 8 Mountain Division Major General Jaiveer Negi while talking to our correspondent on the final day of Suru Valley National Integration Cultural Competition concluded at Captain Nongrum, MVC Auditorium Khumbathang Kargil.

Out of Hundreds of Participants from more than 40 villages, Syed Zulfi of KV Trespone, Rigzin JNV in Folk Category, Maryam Batool JNV in Senior Category and Razia and Group of JNV Kargil in Group Category remained at First Position.
The GOC told that, its felt that the need of OP Sadhbhavna in Border District Kargil is very important due to its backwardness and army will continue such programmes in the future also.
To uplift the educational standard of the poor people of Kargil Indian Army is imparting high class education to more than 50 students in Maharastra and this year Army has taken the burden of imparting higher education to 18 Students of Kargil and has been admitted to Jaipur University for the first time.
Major General Jaiveer Negi told that before the closure of Kargil Zanskar National Highway army is going to organize a high level Medical and Veterinary Camp at Padum Zasnkar.
Its only with the help of the people and the coordination between the Awam and Jawan, the development of Kargil and the security of Kargil can be assured.
Later the GOC distributed the Prizes amongst he winner and runner up students.
On this occasion Others Present Includes, Brigadier Mukesh Aggarwal Commander 8 Mountain Artillery Brigade and officers of Indian Army, Senior Announcer AIR Kargil Mohammad Hassan Askary, Students and spectators.
