| Minor dies, 01 injured in road accidents | |
Srinagar, August 31, (Scoop News)- A minor died while another person was injured in two separate road accidents across the valley.
An Alto car bearing registration number JK13A/7134 hit a 3 year old boy Faiq Farooq son of Farooq Ahmad Malik resident of Katipora Yaripora at Katipora, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Yaripora, Kulgam, resulting in his on spot death. The driver along with his car fled away from the spot. However, when he reached Kanjikulla Yaripora, a violent mob set ablaze his vehicle. Police arrested the driver and registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Sumo bearing registration number JK05B/0285 driven by Idrees Ahmad son of Abdul Rashid Awan resident of Salamabad Uri turned turtle near Gowa Chandanwari, Uri in the jurisdiction of Police Station Uri, Baramulla. The injured was shifted to PHC Boniyar. Police has registered a case in this regard.
