| 9 injured in road mishaps | | Man injured in bear attack |
Srinagar, September 01, (Scoop News)- Nine persons were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
A motorcycle bearing registration number JK03/8638 collided with Tata 407 vehicle bearing registration number JK01F/3610 at Halmulla in the jurisdiction of police station Bijbehara Anantnag, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist Syed Altaf and pillion Syed Aadil residents of Magam Kokernag. Both the injured persons have been shifted to Hospital for treatment. Bijbehara police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, an Eon car met with an accident at Wussan crossing Tangmarg resulting in injuries to two persons including the driver of the car. Both the injured were shifted to Sub District hospital for treatment. Baramulla police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, five persons were injured when truck bearing registration number JK01A/2388 and a Maruti van Bearing registration number 8152/ JK03C meet with an accident on NHW near Lasjan bridge. All the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard.
Man injured in bear attack
One person was injured after he was attacked by a bear in Tangmarg area of Baramulla District last evening.
A bear 33 years old Nazir Ahmed Mir son of Mohammad Akbar Mir resident of Karhama Tangmarg was injured when a bear attacked him at his village. The injured has been referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment.
