Congress alone can better serve the interest of all sections of the society: Mula Ram


Jammu,September 01, (Scoop News)- Former Minister and Vice President PCC Mr. Mula Ram has said that Congress alone can better serve the interest of all sections of the society and lead the state to the path of peace, progress and prosperity.

Addressing series of meetings at Village Dabey, Kala Kan, Gurah Pattan and Doomi in Raipur Domana Constituency, he said that Congress party is the only secular force acceptable in all three regions and has emerged strong because of people’s support to its policies and programmes and it will lead the State to peace, progress and prosperity. He said that Congress led UPA Government had provided liberal funds to our State and tremendous development took place during the last 10 years.

Referring to local problems Mula Ram said that there is demand of repair of roads, proper function of lift irrigation, regular supply of electric power etc. These are the problems which should be addressed but the regularization of daily wagers is a major issue and it should be tackled on top priority basis. All those daily wagers who have completed 7 years service should be regularized without further loss of time, he stressed.

Hari Singh Chib, Organising Secretary PCC who accompanied Shri Mula Ram during the tour has said that Congress party has always played key role in the development of Jammu and Kashmir State and it will continue to do so. He praised the secular credential of Congress party and Congress workers never allowed the inimical forces from outside or inside to succeed in their designs and maintained religious harmony and secular traditions despite of several odds.. He said secularism is the strength of our nation which needs to be further strengthened by strengthening Congress party.

Prominent among others who spoke in these meetings include S/Shri Jang Bahadur Sharma,, Vinod Sharma, Subash Chander, Jagdish Raj, Mohan Lal, Raj Kumar, Shakti Kumar and others.
