BJP spreading falsehood: Mianul Haque


Nagrota,September 01, (Scoop News)- A meeting of Congress workers, Sarpanchs, Panchs and prominent citizens of Nagrota constituency was held today, which was attended by Secretary AICC, Incharge J&K Mianul Haque-MLA.

While addressing the meeting Mr. Haque said that the people of the country have understood the game plan of BJP and its leaders who were out to mislead the masses by spreading false and hallow slogans and also made narrow and communal approach to garner support in the Lok Sabha elections. The result of recently held bye elections in various states indicate that the people have understood the game plan of BJP. He further said that narrow and sectarian ideologies divide our society and weaken our unity and democracy. We should not allow these ideologies to grow in our secular country, he added.

He appealed to the people to vote for Congress for strengthening the bond of brotherhood and communal harmony, which is the need of the hour, to defeat the communal and divisive combinations in the forthcoming elections in the state.

Thakur Shiv Dev Singh in his address asked the party workers to start door to door campaign and explain the people about the polices and programmes of the Congress party and the achievements of Congress led UPA-I, UPA-II government and State’s alliance government and said that Congress has been successfully struggling for the prosperity of the people state.

Prominent among those who attended the meeting included S/Shri Farooq Andrabi-General Secretary PCC, Neeraj Gupta-Secretary PCC; Block President Ram Rattan Sharma, Romal Singh, Balbir Singh, Sonu Vaid, Dayal Singh, Madan Mohan Sharma, Balwan Singh, Nachhatar Singh, Krishan Singh, Charan Dass, Mohan Singh, Master Puran Chand, Beli Ram, Mohan Lal, Mongal Singh, Subash Singh and others.
