CM should own moral responsibility for J&K’s disaster

Jammu,September 15, (Scoop News)- State BJP advises Chief Minister to own responsibility for J&K disaster as it is now more than eleven days that Indian brave army under “Operation Meghrahat” started rescuing people from the valley of water but state government machinery remained absent from the scene. This was stated by the BJP State Spokesperson Dr. Nirmal Kamal in a press handout issued today. She further said that it is unfortunate that the Congress big wigs have started alleging Army selectively rescuing people in distress after appreciating Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi’s timely direction to Army to start rescue operations. She also ridiculed the statement of Congress Senior leader Ambika Soni that help from the Prime Minister came little late.

At the same time, commenting on Omar Abdullah, Dr. Nirmal Kamal said that Chief Minister of the State is busy saving his skin by defending himself and his colleagues, who disappeared from the scene as they lacked guts to protect innocent people trapped in water. It is to the knowledge of everyone who matter that Omar Abdullah as CM was safely placed at Gupkar Road Bungalow and frequented Hari Niwas Palace to protect himself from the wrath of angry people outside his residence and all his cabinet colleagues, senior government officials residing at prestigious magnificent Chashma-shahi and other areas, dare not risk their lives. Even the Secretariat building was merged under water while several officials from Jammu stranded in TRC building and other areas were rescued by brave Army after several days with faint hope to be in the safe zones. But to the little knowledge of top boss of the government, dictating that all officials should report back to their respective offices, seems a dictate from the frustrated Chief Minister, making desperate attempt to show his non existing efficiency. Instead, Omar Abdullah should be very humbly own moral responsibility for this entire disaster, inaction of ruthless administration and magnitude of corruption which has put the state in this pitiable situation, says BJP Spokesperson Dr. Nirmal Kamal....
