J&K Connect Centre headed by a senior Government officer has been established
Jammu, September 15, (Scoop News)- A 24x7 dedicated helpline through J&K Connect Centre headed by a senior Government officer has been established for finding the missing persons due to recent flood victims at the ground floor of the Office Complex of Divisional Commissioner at Rail head Complex, Jammu.
This information was shared by Shantmanu, Divisional Commissioner Jammu during a press briefing today evening.
The major purpose of this J&K Connect Centre is to help in finding the missing persons all across the state due to recent floods. This Connect Centre shall be headed by Amit Sharma, Special Secretary to Government, Animal/Sheep Husbandry Department in Jammu who shall be assisted by a team of officers and staff for providing these services round the clock through this Help Centre. A facebook page with the domain name www.facebook.com/operationconnectjk has also been created as a facilitator for the said purpose. All the information regarding missing persons is updated on daily basis on this facebook page for information of information of all concerned.
Apart from this, four dedicated telephone helpline numbers have been started with the numbers 18001807049 (toll-free), 18001807050 (toll-free) 0191-2471522 and 0191-2471922.These helpline numbers shall function day and night on which requisite information regarding missing persons can be shared by all concerned.
J&K Connect Centre shall play a pivotal role in connecting all missing persons in J&K state.
