| 2 die, 2 injured in road mishaps | | Man injured in Kupwara accident succumbs |
Srinagar, October 22, (Scoop News)- One person who was injured in a road accident in Kupwara on 13th this month succumbed while as 02 others died and two persons were injured in different road accident across the valley.
Sabder Ali Check son of Mohammad Ali resident of Tangdar succumbed to his injuries at Sub District Hospital, Tangdar. Sabder was injured in a road accident at Tangdhar, Karnah on 13th this month.
Meanwhile, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03B/1653 hit and injured a pedestrian Adil Ahmad Rather resident of Kwasigam Achabal on K.P Road near Al-Sarwat School, in the jurisdiction of police station Mattan. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura where he succumbed to his injuries. Mattan police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, an unknown Truck hit a truck driver Soma Ram son of Kacha Ram resident of Rajasthan on NHW near Batengoo, in the jurisdiction of police station Anantnag resulted in his on spot death. The body of deceased was shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag for medico-legal formalities. Anantnag police has registered a case and investigation has been taken up.
In another accident, a Wagon -R bearing registration number PB10CB- hit a parked Maximo vehicle bearing registration number JK01V-1175 near Bulgam, in the jurisdiction of police station Tarzoo, resulting in injuries to the Wagon-R driver and a passenger who was travelling in Maximo. Both the injured have been shifted to District Hospital, Baramulla for treatment. Tarzoo Police has registered a case in this regard.
6 shops damaged in fire
Fire erupted at Letpora market, in the jurisdiction of police station Awantipora, resulting in complete damaged to six shops. Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders and police.
