Workshop on training on digital literacy held at Anantnag
Anantnag,October 24, (Scoop News)-A workshop entitled “Training on Digital Literacy” was organized by Centrally Sponsored Scheme e-Governance Services India Limited in association with Jammu and Kashmir e-Governance Agency (JaKeGA) here today aimed to provide Information Communication and Technology (ICT) training to 20,000 persons, one in every eligible household in selected Blocks in districts of Anantnag, Doda, Shopian, Baramulla and Pulwama in the State.
Secretary to Government, Information Technology and Science Technology Department (ITS&T), P.A. Malik was the Chief Guest.
General Manager Education from CSC-SPV Rishikesh Patankar, Vice President J&K Bank, Mohammad Ibrahim Wani, Project Manager JaKeGA, Imran Sufi, Consultant Capacity Building State e-Mission Team (SeMT) IT Department, Shahnawaz Rashid were also present on the occasion.
P.A. Malik while speaking on the occasion highlighted the objective of the programme and said that this is also in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of transforming the country into a digital nation.
Android based tablets installed with household survey application were distributed among the five best performing VLEs on the occasion. They appreciated the training and were enthusiastic about the survey task.
