Ex-Tehsildar amongst dozens joined NC in Samba
Samba,October 28, (Scoop News)-: In a significant development dozens of political workers from various political parties including a former Tehsildar Vidhi Chander along with his supporters joined National Conference in a public meeting held in Purmandal today in the presence of Senior NC Leader and Candidate from Samba Satwant Kaur Dogra.
Satwant Kaur Dogra garlanded the new entrants and welcomed them in the party fold. She said that with each joining the movement for change is getting strengthened in Samba Constituency and it is a clear indication that the people have decided to oust the sitting MLA. She welcomed the decision of various political activists in strengthening the hands of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, saying this will certainly go a long way in fulfilling the agenda set for development of Samba.
Addressing the gathering Satwant Kaur Dogra said that NC will bounce back strongly and will register a magnificent victory in the ensuing elections with party all set to win both the seats from Samba. She said that development of Samba is her only political goal and she will perform her best to bring Samba at number one position in the state in terms of development and infrastructure. She appealed people to support her candidature and ensure a comfortable victory for the development and future of Samba.
The new entrants led by former Tehsildar Vidhi Chander hailed the sincere efforts of Satwant Dogra for getting Tehsil status to Purmandal and said that honesty, hard work, sincerity and vision of Dogra for development have prompted them to strengthen the hands of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to take Samba on the path of development. They further said that people are fed up with the rampant corruption and commission system prevalent in the constituency and they have made up their mind to support Satwant Dogra and in coming weeks more and more political workers will join NC across Samba Constituency. Prominent amongst present were Sarpanch Mohd Rashid, Baldev Raj, Munshi Ram Bhagat, Master Govind Ram, Mohd Anif, Raj Kumar, Narinder, Ramesh Kumar, and Master Paras Ram.
