JKAACL organises Multi-Lingual Kahani Goshthi
Jammu, October 30, (Scoop News)-The Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) in collaboration with Govt. College for women Parade, Jammu organised a multi-lingual Kahani Gosthi programme in the college.
Former Secretary of the Academy and renowned artist, writer, intellectual Prof. Rita Jatindra presided whereas Anjali Sharma I/C Director Doordarshan and Dr. Lalit Magotra prominent Dogri Scholar, Short Story Writer and Critics were the chief guest and guests of honour respectively.
Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn Additional Secretary of the Academy also shared the presidium.
Prof. Rita Jatindra extended gratitude to J&K Cultural Academy for holding multi-lingual Kahani Goshthi in the college for the students and also providing an opportunity to be a part of this literary event.
Dr. Lalit Magotra, speaking on the occasion, appreciated the role of the Academy in promotion of Art, Culture and Languages deserves appreciation.
Speaking on the occasion, Anjali Sharma, Director Doordarshan also appreciated the role of Academy.
Earlier, Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, in his welcome address, said that recognizing the pulse of the fast changing time in the society, new trends have been adopted in executing the programmes. The Academy is trying to penetrate the instinct of talent of creative writing through reaching the young generation
Renowned and national acclaimed prominent short story writers Dr. Manoj Sharma (Dogri) Jenab Khalid Hussain (Punjabi) and Jenab S.S Anand Lehar (Urdu) and Sh. Rattan Lal Shant(Hindi) presented the stories.
Azra Choudhary Editor Hindi conducted the proceedings of the programme and Ashok Gupta, Editor Dogri extended vote of thanks.
Among others Prof. Chanchal Dogra, Sham Talib, N.D Jamwal, Raj Kumar Chandan, Prof Baldev Singh, Dr. Baljeet Raina, Hardeep Singh Deep, Kanwal Deep Singh, Randhir Kaur, Mamta Rani and a galaxy of literary personalities, intellectuals, staff and students of the college were present in the function.
