BSF School, organizes heritage tour to historic Amar Mahal Palace


Jammu, November 25, (Scoop News)- On the concluding day of the Heritage Week, BSF School, Paloura organised a heritage tour to historic Amar Mahal Palace museum .


Nearly 50 students of the school accompanied by their art teacher Chander Shekhar took part in the tour during which they were told about the importance of the heritage and the need to preserve it.

The students were told about the importance of other places of heritage value like Kol Kandoli temple, Mubarak Mandi and Nadni Wildlife Sanctuary.


At Amar art museum the students put the impressions of the place on the canvass. They were guided by their teacher Chander Shekhar about how to sketch and the techniques to click the camera to take photographs of such places of heritage importance.
The motive behind the heritage tour was to make students aware of the rich heritage of our state and its importance to the society.
The tour was organised under the guidance of principal of BSF School, Dr. S S Khokhar
motivating the students he said: He said heritage is an expression of life, civilization of culture and tradition we must preserve our heritage to know our true self.
