| Lend helping hand to transform Jammu West: Jamwal tells voters | |
Jammu, November 26, (Scoop News)- Continuing his door-to-door campaign in the Jammu West Constituency on Wednesday, National Conference candidate Mr Dharamvir Singh Jamwal assured electors of inclusive development and upkeep of utility services in view of the area being hugely populous.
Mr Jamwal got enthusiastic response from the people who enumerated various constant irritants which could not get due attention due to lack of representation. They assured him of their support, hoping that the constituency will get a better deal in the next six years.
Mr Jamwal visited Talab Tillo and Bohri areas of the constituency along with senior functionaries of the party.
The NC candidate said development and implementation of various welfare schemes will receive focussed attention while efforts would be made to steer the constituency to holistic development so that it becomes a model in the capital city. He said his party would vigorously pursue the centre for declaring Jammu as a smart city keeping in view its potential and importance as a pilgrim-cum-toruism destination. “A city which is gateway to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi and Shri Amarnathji Yatras besides route to picturesque Kashmir, Ladakh and Pantnitop needs a befitting development with focus on its aesthetic grandeur”, he maintained.
Mr Jamwal referred to the initiatives of National Conference led government during the past six years and said Chief Minister Mr Omar Abdullah has always been pursuing a pro-active agenda of having best possible services in various sectors available to the people. As a result of single-minded approach a significant change is discernible in each sector, he added.
The NC candidate sought support of the people during ensuing elections saying he will endeavour for meeting the aspirations of the people. He said the constituency needed a better deal and the people will not find him wanting in meeting the challenges confronted on various fronts. He described Jammu West as abode of cross section of people and said each segment will get due share in development and progress.
Mr Jamwal said a strong and stable government alone would be in a position to satiate the urges and aspirations of the people. He made a passionate appeal to vote for him for better future of Jammu West Constituency.
