| Chelum-e-Hussaini Observed in Kargil | | 
Kargil,December 14, (Scoop News)- People in Kargil observed the Chelum-e-Hussaini. Mourning Processions from all nearby villages of Kargil Town reachedKargil beating their Chest, Backs with Chains, Chanting Slogans and weeping.
The Processions passing through Main Bazzar Kargil via, Islamia School Chowk, Lal Chowk, Khomenie Chowk and concluded at Inqalab Manzil (Qatil Gha) and Hussaini Park Kargil.
The Processions Concluded with the Ziyarat-e-Arbayeen by the Religious Scholars who later prayed for the Peace, Prosperity and Communal harmony in the Country.
The Speakers also condemned the innocent killings all around the world and urged the people to follow the teachings of Karbala and to imbibe the values of Ashurah in themselves.
Every year Shia Muslims Mourn the Sacrifice of the Grand Son of Prophet Mohammad SAW Hazrat Imam Hussain AS in the deserts of Karbala in 61 AD, for 40 days from 1st of Muharaam to 20th Safar according to Islamic Calendar and concludes with the Chelum-e-Hussaini on the 40th Day after Ashura.
District Administrations has made all arrangements for the successful and smooth conclusion of the Chelum Processions and according to SSP Kargil Sujit Kumar the Kargil Police has made adequate arrangements of security and traffic from the Main Bazzar Kargil was diverted via poyen for in and out movement.
He thanked the volunteers for conducting and concluding the processions smoothly.
