“Let’s join hands to change destiny of Jammu-West”: Jamwal

Jammu, December 18, (Scoop News)-Seeking vote and support of the people for massive development of Jammu-West Assembly Constituency, National Conference candidate Dharamveer Singh Jamwal on Thursday described the ongoing elections as defining moment for Jammu and Kashmir to have a stable government.

“Peoples’ support is crucial for political stability and good governance”, Mr Jamwal said while concluding his campaign across the constituency. He held election meetings at Gole Panjpeer and Jaswant Plaza besides door-to-door campaign across the constituency.

Mr Jamwal said he was overwhelmed to see the enthusiasm among the voters who wanted to show their strength on the day of polling, as they feel betrayed by the successive legislators of BJP and Congress. “This constituency has suffered immensely due to misrepresentation though Omar led government did a lot on the front of development”, he maintained.
He unfolded his vision about the Jammu-West constituency and said his endeavour will be to restore the aesthetic grandeur of the area by giving impetus to works related to sewerage, drainage, improvement of interior roads, supply of drinking water and power. “This is not possible without the active cooperation of the people”, he added.
Mr Jamwal exhorted the people to be part of change by getting engaged in the beautification of the constituency which forms an important component of the heritage and capital city of Jammu. This aspect has always missed the attention, as a result of which the area lacks various facilities. “Soonafter elections, we will focus on development in a big way”, he said and hoped that the people will support his vision by coming forward in good numbers to cast their votes.
The National Conference candidate was accompanied by Rashpal Singh, Sucha Singh, Som Raj, Sunny, Ankush Langer, Ashok Singh Manhas, Shabir Sambyal, Sham Mehra, Arvind Sharma, Ashwani Charak, Pinkt Bhat, Asha Rani, Sanjeev Handa, Satish Nargotra, Rohit Kerni, Ricky, Monu Neeraj, Dr Tara Chand, Bunty, Pervez, Rahul and Zishan Kazmi.
