Sagar stresses for taking adequate measures on Eid-i-Milaad Nabi (SAW)
and annual Urs of Hazrat Naqashband Sahib (RA)
Srinagar, December 19, (Scoop News)- General Secretary Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Advocate Ali Mohammad Sagar Friday appealed the divisional administration to take adequate measures for the upcoming auspicious occasion of “Eid-i-Millad’ Nabi (SAW).


In a statement issued here, Ali Mohammad Sagar has urged the divisional administration to make ample arrangements across all the holy shrines including Dargah Hazratbal, Asari Shareef Shehri Kailashpora, Jenaab Sahab Soura, Lalbazaar, Pinjora Shopian, Kaabmarg, Khiram Sirhama, Makhama, Dangarpora Narwara and all other major places were the festival is celebrated with religious fervour.


Sagar contacted the Divisional commissioner Kashmir and all district development commissioners of the valley, in order to make elaborate necessary arrangements which include regular power supply, drinking water facilities and other essential commodities.



He also urged the director CA&PD to arrange additional monthly Ration and sugar quota for people.
Sagar directed for extending all basic facilities to devotees include adequate drinking water and power supply, transport facilities, medicare besides cleanliness in and around the shrines.


Sagar said that holy days in connection with celebration of Eid-i-Milaad (SAW) will start from (29 Safar as per Islamic calendar) 22 December 2014.
He impressed upon the authorities to also make such kind of arrangements during the annual Urs of Hazrat Naqashband Sahib which will commence from (3rd Rabi-ul-awal 1436 Hijri), especially on Khawji Digar prayers at the holy shrine situated at Khawaja Bazaar Nowhatta.


Sagar interacted with officer bearers of Muslim Waqf Board and district administration and sought details about the arrangements made for smooth and peaceful conduct of Eid-i-Milaad and Urs Mubarak Hazrat Naqashband Sahib (RA).
