Jammu, December 19, (Scoop News)-Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) J&K unit strongly condemned the vested interests in dragging the name of party in unfortunate attack on BJP leader S. Navjot Singh Sidhu in Jammu.
Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) has firm belief that parties/individuals inimical to growing cooperation between BJP & SAD in the state are behind this malicious campaign and are apprehensive of their sure defeat in ongoing Assembly Elections. Shiromani Akali Dal do not believe in violence and strongly condemn it in all forms as it has no place in democracy.
SAD also regrets the ill-timed and uncalled for statement issued by S. Navjot Singh Sidhu and urge the BJP high command to take serious note of it as it is like playing into the hands of conspirators which may not only damage the reputation of SAD but can be damaging the relationship between the two parties.
SAD also appeals all its supporters not to get carried away by such statements and overwhelmingly support the BJP candidates in last phase of Assembly Elections to defeat divisive forces.
