| Sethi donates five lakh for Mookherjee Bhawan | | 
Jammu, December 20, (Scoop News)- To lend their mite to the construction of Dr. Shayama Prasad Mookherjee Bhawan at Trikuta Nagar, BJP senior leader Yudhvir Sethi, along with BJP Mahila Morcha State President Priya Sethi, donated 5 lakh rupees and the cheque for the same was handed over to Union MoS in PMO,
Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space and Development of North Eastern Region (Independent Charge)Dr. Jitendra Singh in presence of BJP State Spokespersons Lalit Moza and Balbir Ram Rattan at Jammu on Saturday.
Dr. Jitendra Singh, while accepting the cheque on behalf of the party observed that the donation for a very noble cause and this contribution will inspire others also to come forward and make more contributions thus helping in the speedy completion of the construction. He said that the new building has been designed to cater to the needs of the party which is gaining membership and the strength with the passing of each day. The plan to build this building was to perpetuate the memory of Late Shayama Prasad Mukherjee, the founding member of Jana Sangh and who breathed his last in the jail in J&K under mysterious circumstances when Sheikh Mohamad Abdullah was governing the state in 1953.
Dr. Jitendra Singh also praised the effort of Yudhvir Sethi and Priya Sethi for having made this significant contribution which goes to indicate their commitment for the party and the zeal to serve the party in many diverse manners.
