| IGP Kashmir congratulates promotees | | exhorts them to work with dedication |
Srinagar, January 24, (Scoop News)-Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone, A.G Mir today issued the promotion orders of 255 SgCts to the next rank of Head Constable. The departmental promotion committee under the Chairmanship of the Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone today approved the promotion of 255 SgCts to the rank of head constable having lien and seniority with Kashmir Zone.
IGP Kashmir has felicitated the promoted police personnel and their families and exhorted upon them to work with more dedication and devotion in the interests of public and the department.
It is pertinent to mention here that in the year 2014 Zonal Police Headquarters promoted 207 HC’s to the rank of ASI’s and 794 HCs, SgCts, Constables and Followers were either promoted or given in-situ grade promotions.
