| R-Day full dress rehearsal held across Kashmir Valley | |  Srinagar, January 24, (Scoop News)-As part of 66th Republic Day celebration, full dress rehearsal was held today in all district headquarters of Kashmir Valley.
At Srinagar, the full dress rehearsal was conducted at Bakshi Stadium in which Deputy Commissioner, Farooq Ahmad Shah, after unfurling the national flag inspected the parade and took salute at the march past.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Rohit Kansal, Inspector General of Police, A.G. Mir besides senior civil, police and para-military forces were present on the occasion.
On the occasion, a variety of colourful cultural programmes were presented by students of educational institutions in collaboration with Information and Youth Services & Sports Departments besides Academy of Art, Culture and Languages.
At Baramulla, the rehearsal was conducted at District Police Lines, Baramulla in which Additional District Development Commissioner, unfurled the tricolour and took salute at the march past. Cultural programmes were also presented.
At Anantnag, full dress rehearsal was held at Government Degree College Boys, Anantnag in which Additional Deputy Commissioner took salute at the march past.
At Budgam, the event was held at Sports Stadium, Budgam where Additional Deputy Commissioner unfurled the national flag and took salute at the march past presented.
At Kupwara, the full dress rehearsal was held at District Police Lines, Kupwara where Additional Deputy Commissioner took salute at the march past and witnessed the cultural programmes.
At Pulwama, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama unfurled the National flag and took salute at the march past during full dress rehearsal held at District Police Lines, Pulwama.
At Shopian, the event was held at Fruit Mandi, Shopian in which Additional Deputy Commissioner unfurled the tricolour and took salute at the march past and witnessed the cultural programmes.
At Kulgam, Additional District Development Commissioner hoisted the national flag and took salute at the march past at Government Degree College Boys, Kulgam.
At Bandipora, a full dress rehearsal was held at S.K. Sports Stadium, Bandipora in which Additional Deputy Commissioner inspected the parade and took salute at the march past and witnessed the cultural programmes.
At Ganderbal, the event was held at Madri Meharban Stadium, Ganderbal where Additional Deputy Commissioner unfurled the tricolour and took salute at the march past.
Officers from civil administration, police and army besides senior citizens were also present.
