| CEC urges teachers to implement Library management workshop in schools | |
Leh, January 24, (Scoop News)-To review the arrangements being provided to the 10th and 12th Class students in the ongoing centralized and day boarding winter coaching in various coaching centres at Leh and to boost the morale of students before their final board exams, the Chief Executive Councilor,
LAHDC, Leh Rigzin Spalbar today visited vocational training centre Dambuchan where about 186 students of Nyoma and Durbuk blocks are getting residential coaching these days. He also visited Girls Higher Secondary School and Boys Higher Secondary School where about 170 students are getting day boarding winter coaching.
While inspecting class rooms at all the coaching centers, CEC interacted with the students and teachers and enquired about their preparation for coming board exams and urged students to use these last valuable days judiciously saying that there is no substitute for hard work . CEC directed CEO, Leh and Dy CEO, Leh to enquire about the students who have not attended the ongoing coaching so that they can join the coaching timely. He also inspected kitchen, boys and girls hostels and met with wardens.
Students while expressing their views said that they are getting good time for revision and day to day class test has improved their confidence to face coming board exam.
Later, to know about the ongoing teachers trainings at DIET, Leh, CEC visited DIET, Leh where about 180 teachers are getting two days Library management workshop being organized by 17000 Ft Foundation. Addressing the gathering of teachers, CEC urged upon the teachers to implement these trainings in schools.
