| BJP nominates Shamsher & Chander from Jammu for Rajya Sabha polls | |
Jammu, January 27, (Scoop News)-BJP has nominated Shamsher Singh Manhas and Chander Mohan Sharma as party candidates for forthcoming elections to the Council of States, the Rajya Sabha, against the seats fallen vacant.
According to an official communique received from party Central Office at New Delhi, by State office, it said that BJP National President Amit Shah has been pleased to announce Shamsher Singh Manhas and Chander Mohan Sharma as candidates from Jammu and Kashmir.
Both the candidates have been associated with the party since long and served the organisation in various capacities during the last over three decades and are experienced and well versed in public service and welfare as well as party’s principles, ideology and working culture.
